I wish that all children were raised honestly.
An honest God's the noblest work of man, as the saying goes. A God by any other name would smell as sweet. A God is a God is a God...
The Jefferson Bible was made by Thomas Jefferson.
He used scissors on his Bible to extract only the
life and words of Jesus, minus the miracles.
He made numerous notes in the margins of his new book.
I have never faulted the person who sued to
remove "under God" from the flag salute.
It's an honest difference of opinion. I think
he makes a good argument. But I don't care if
the words "under God" are in the salute or not.
And I strongly defend the right and integrity of
the person who brought the suit. It was a very
legitimate question that could have gone either way. I do not defend the slanders that were hurled at the man who brought the suit.
Sincerely,
Mike
