I never accepted Dick's metaphysics for the simple reason that I don't accept anyone's metaphysics. As far as I'm concerned life must be lived on a pragmatic basis; we may entertain theories but only as a mental exercise. I think Dick's paper (or Van Flandern ideas, or Langan's CTMU) can be used for some brain workout, but taking them seriously is a huge mistake.

Ironically, you seem to take Dick's paper seriously as you spend so much time trying to prove him wrong. As far as I'm concerned he doesn't deliver anything new and that is the end of the story, nothing more needs to be said. I just find it interesting that you present all sorts of philosophical arguments when a simple "show me the money", Bruce style, would do.

But then, maybe that's how you work your brain out.
