I agree. If there was a God then I believe that the Bible and the Church would only hinder any real connection a person can have with Him. Why must a person go through a "holy" man to talk to God? Why must a person go to Church to be considered a religious person? Why are the words written by mortal men revered so highly, it is but a book, is it not?
