I won't even start about Ruquist.
I have posted a lot of commentary in the past 10 days. Harv has responded to NONE of the content
as far as I can see.
But he has chattered incessantly to me and about me on little stuff.

Nothing started here
As I said before, some people come to this forum to debate and exchange their ideas about science and philosophical issues, whereas others evidently come to be contentious. Mike likes being contentious. He loves bickering. So, he uses this forum to engage in bickering. He replies to posts, sometimes with legitimate well-thought out replies, and then quickly moves the discussion to his favorite bicker of the day.
If you like bickering, you will love Mike. If you don't like bickering, then it's probably in your interest to ignore him. My approach is to talk to Mike up till the point he becomes contentious and then drop it. However, sometimes I get in a bickering mood, and I like to start something with Mike. He's always willing to go full throttle in that vein.
Try it! It's a fun exercise in the art of bickering.
Warm regards, Harv

No need to be freaked out Mike is totally safe. I've known him almost a year. He just likes to engage in mindless quarreling for some reason. Don't be freaked out. Unless you like mindless quarreling (and most of us don't), you might just let him quarrel with others. It's a problem for this forum that he does this, but there's nothing we can do about it. He appeared almost a year ago, and some have left while others have simply put up with this.

Richard is right Nicholas, I hope you don't judge this forum by one individual. I cringe everytime I see a new poster debate with Mike because this is often the outcome. Such rude behavior shouldn't be allowed, but I'm not the webmaster.

I’m ignoring you You only push people away from this forum. That's been your position from day one.

http://www.astronomy.net/forums/god/messages/24243.shtml
Me too Unless you want to change your ways and stop the bicker

http://www.astronomy.net/forums/god/messages/24273.shtml
Excellent response This a man who loves bickering. End of story.

Uncalled for I don't think Mike is antisemetic, but he should focus on debating issues and not get involved in slurs.

http://www.astronomy.net/forums/god/messages/23987.shtml
I vote To encourage Mike to admit his attachment for the posters here, and make encouraging remarks instead of discouraging remarks.

http://www.astronomy.net/forums/god/messages/23996.shtml
Admit it You can't have enough of us, that's why you are here. Come on, admit your emotional bond for everyone here.

http://www.astronomy.net/forums/god/messages/24002.shtml
You are afraid of your emotions
It is easy to say that someone cares about the other posters, but you refuse to do so. I care about you. I always try to help in any way I can. Why can't you say it? What prevents you from expressing yourself?

http://www.astronomy.net/forums/god/messages/24020.shtml
Okay then Let's assume that we eliminate both groups from the reason why you continue to post here. Then that leaves those who have made their identity known, continue to participate on a very frequent basis, and who do not criticize you. Who are we talking about? No one meets that criteria. But, you are still here. So, you must love the ones who
criticize you, are anonymous, and who are participating often. You love us!! Now, admit it.

That’s because Aurino is defending himself, whereas you are just trying to engage in mindless quarreling. I don't know why you find bickering more fun than debating real issues. You are capable of both, but you seem to think you can bicker better than debate. I think you would be a much better debater if you stopped the bicker. But, no matter how much I complain, you continue to do so. WHY?

http://www.astronomy.net/forums/god/messages/23986.shtml
The options are open to you. If you don't like this forum, then join another. There are many active forums. Obviously you spend most of your time on this G&S forum is because you love us so much. So, if you love us, why not show that affection by being pleasant?

http://www.astronomy.net/forums/god/messages/23995.shtml
You should tell us that you love all of us J

You are such an intelligent and lucid individual with a witty humor, why is bickering one of your favorite hobbies? You bicker well, but most people don't like to bicker. Can't you respect that I and others, for the most part, do not like to bicker?
