The Difference, In My Opinion

Actually, I think the differences in our views are of a different nature. In my opinion, if the atheistic "it's all a big accident" worldview were ridiculous it could not possibly lead to a pragmatically successful science. Hence the problem:

a) some people claim that because our science is pragmatically successful, the atheistic premises are not ridiculous after all
b) some people claim "ridiculousness" has nothing to do with pragmatic success
c) some people claim that the pragmatic success of science is just an illusion

Atheists usually believe in (a). You seem to think along the lines of (b). I happen to be convinced of (c). I also hoped you would one day jump from b to c.

That's, in a nutshell, what the battle is all about :-)
