| Not Light That Goes Slower...

No STD states that space-time is faster the farther you are away from the center point of the universe. Thus if we are near the center space time seems normal, but at the edge of the unverse time goes by much faster. This would allow light going at the same speed to travel much farther, it still takes millions of years to get to us, but it arrive to us in a very short time (from our point of view) to get here because time isrunning at a different rate.
