The Noah's flood story consists of two seperate accounts. A redactor combined them. The two stories give two whole different accounts. One of them shows Noah's blind obedience to God. Noah builds the ark without even being told why! In one story Noah knows what will happen before he goes on the ark, the other Noah hasn't a clue. Also the flooding details are different for the same reason. Ever wonder why a crow was sent out and never returned, yet it took the dove a few shots? Same thing. One story was a crow, another the dove. Awwww. Biblical scholarship. Are you Old Testament or New Testament? :^P
