Then, we read on down to find out what the : : Fathers' will is and it says to believe and trust on His : : Son Jesus Christ, and bear much fruit. Either make the : : tree good and its fruit good or make the tree corrupt and : : the fruit corrupt....a tree is known by its fruit. A good : : tree cannot bear thistles or thorns, and a corrupt tree : : cannot bear good fruit. The corrupt fruitless trees will : : be hewn down and thrown into the fire, because no tree : : can bear fruit unless they are firmly planted and rooted : : in the main source of life....Jesus. I guess that what : : Jesus says a Christian is...one that's attached himself : : to Him. Which means the old nature changes, attitudes : : change, lives change, old sinful habits go away, and : : fruit begins to be brought forth.:-) Have a good one folks! : ____

: Nice guy, but the way he is being presented sure makes him sound like one arrogant egomaniac. :Earl here: :-) Yea, well, ..theres a difference in arrogance ,egomania, and raw unadulterated POWER...the first thinks they have something when they dont...the second well...to put it gently...---spoke the worlds into existence..He knew who He was...it is His word that holds it all together...they ain't nobody else that walked on water in the midst of a storm...or spoke and calmed a raging storm...or cast out thousands of devils, and healed thousands from disease, or made the blind to see, or lame to walk, or deaf to hear, or transfigured on a mountain with Moses and Elijah... and God the Father speaking with Him, or have a voice from heaven Saying "This is my beloved Son in whom I am well pleased..Hear ye Him!", or fed 5000 with a loaf of bread and 2 fish, or raise the dead, or rose from the dead, or ascend back to heaven to the throne. :-) ..Jesus was God almighty come as a man ....to bring mankind back to God the Father.
