| The Ugly Side Of False Christians

I have to agree with Beelzebub in that many ugly things have been commited by so called Christians, to list a few: the Crusades, the witch hunts, the Spanish Inquisition, the ugly conquest of Latin America, genocide against Native Americans, the Holocaust, etc. It is important to remember that these so called Christians were not real Christians but a bunch of hypocrites hiding behind the name of Christ and using His name for their own selfish ends. Real Christians, on the other hand, show love for their fellow man and should not be obsessed with material things, judging other people, or falling into the hole of irrationality by declaring things that defy reason. Nor should they be doing bad things. Not that they are perfect but as Beelzebub says, they should be shining examples to the rest of the world. Jesus said that Christians should be as lights in a world of darkness and ignorance. |
