That you will never accept any evidence as evidence against creationism (or am I reading this wrong?)

If the light is too old for the universe, it was created en route. If there are too many species to fit in the ark, make up an undefined category called "kinds." If the salt water would kill freshwater fish, there wasn't salt in the water.

People have said that God made the world appear old to test our faith in the Bible: such an act by God ensures that only the stupid and the sheep end up in heaven. Why did God jump through SO many hoops just to make the Bible correct? Seems like reverse logic to me.

That is not rationality. You don't make science conform to your beliefs, you make your opinions conform to the observations of science.
