Although I don't think you have a coherent world view that differs from mainstream biology, if you do, let's hear it now.

I don't have a problem with the models scientists propose to explain the fossil record, they are excellent as far as models go. My problem is the misinformed way in which many people interpret those models as being metaphysical truths.

The issue is philosophy, not biology.

Darwin didn't believe in Darwinism. He was, however, interested in biology.

Freud didn't believe in Freudianism. He was, however, interested in the human psyche.

Yet how many people today still think Freud and Darwin would be chanting the same tune if they somehow were still alive?
