What Is The Closest Famous Astronomical Observatory To Your Home

There's a question. The closest famous one to here depends on what "famous" is.
I am near Manastash Observatory, but it's usually closed. I am near Rattlesnake Observatory, but
I don't know what they do there besides the aurora research they used to do. And I am near Goldendale Observatory and Pettinger-Geiley Observatory. I don't think any of these are world-famous.
Are you near any observatories whose name might appear in a college astronomy textbook?
