All thought is fiction, including engineering specifications. Thought may have its own universe and the material and thought universes may be interpenetrating...or some other drivel.

Intelligence is for experiencing life and designing life and doing the necessary cogitating for both. It does not always pay our own bills, but we do help pay the bills of the wealthy -- for the economic systems are not
yet optimizing the living environment for intelligence...not by a long way!

I hope you will leave the world behind, but take the universe with you. The "world" is not ready for the universe, but we are, aren't we.
