When I was a young man,
trying out my arguments at Sam's age,
I was not arguing in favor of a
dishonest thesis against an honest one.
Sam IS doing that. Are we de-programming him
so he can be a manager or executive in the
vast right wing conspiracy? Well, Sam...
is it true your parents are fairly wealthy
and conservative Christians? And that
you know very little about evolution
but what your parents
made sure you learned? So why should you
take your place among the next generation's
wealthy class after obtaining your free education
from a lot of scientists of modest means?
It is unjust.

Religious deceptions have killed many
and robbed from many. Creationism, it
becomes more and more clear to me, is
not much more than a deception to keep
order in a money game. It allows a
conspiracy network to ignore the U.S. Constitution, as Ken Starr did, because
"they obey a higher authority."
Well, their authority is a LOWER one.
And their system of thought is less
intelligent except when it comes to
conspiracies to acquire money.
The ENRON executives who stole vast sums
of money from employee pension funds are said to
include many fundamentalist Christians.

Too bad. Jesus is Christ, but they didn't follow him in regard to loving their fellow beings. They just took his name in vain.
