: bzrd here: Jesus said that in the latter days many would come in His name and produce wonderous works and signs. If there are beings who inhabit dimensions that lie beyond our perception, it would not seem at all unreasonable to presume they would possess what we would term, "supernatural powers". I scincerely believe that these beings will claim that Jesus was an alien or an "alien representative" or whatever. If you don't believe this try researching New Age religion. New Age is a nebulous hodge-podge of beliefs that says " I am god you are god Shirely McClain is god the trees are god" ad nauseum. Basically, anything but the belief in "that Jesus guy". I read an account of a New Age "channeler" who contacted a spirit that said " soon all of the Christian Fundamentalists will be taken to another dimension so the human spirit can evolve". It seems they already have their cover story in place for when the Rapture comes. Currently, there is a move afoot to "ecumenicalize" the world religions, in other words, make all the world religions equal. I heard a rumor that the Vatican sponsered a prayer meeting that was attended by Buddists [sp?] Muslims satan worshippers occultists etc. Can a one world religion be far off? Greg: bzrd, God IS God for All Mankind. Any perception of God that suggests He is less then that, for any reason whatsoever, IS NOT PERCEPTIVE OF GOD! A One World Religion IS the Only Religious View that could even begin to Accurately Be Perceptive of God! |
