Life is complicated enough as it is, why make it even more so? Why not listen to other people rather than try and figure it all out by yourself? Why not let science and technology handle the aspects of your life that can be understood, let religion, art, and philosophy handle the mysteries, and concentrate on making a very small contribution to one or more of them?

I suddenly feel sorry for all the Language Removed I've been posting here. Harv is right, what we have is the best we can possibly have at the moment, and any attempt to play Don Quixote and fix everything that's wrong with the world will be just that, fighting windmills. Things will get better with time, and we can opt for helping that or we can opt for, well, being Don Quixote. Either way, ultimately it's a matter of personal opinion, and as a good friend used to say, opinions are not to be argued, only regretted.

Last but not least: the "Reality as a Language" idea is not about reality at all, it's about my own experience of exploring human knowledge, particularly the negative aspects of it. It's about myself and nothing else, so please don't make more of it than it actually is.
