I quoted W.C. Fields, but it got me thinking of him, so I thought of more quotes:

If at first you don't succeed, try, try, and try again. Then give up. There's no use being a damned fool about it.

...more people are driven insane through religious hysteria than by drinking alcohol.

Children should neither be seen nor heard from - ever again.

Never mind what I told you--you do as I tell you.

(When asked what he would like his epitaph to read) "on the whole, I'd rather be in Philadelphia"

W.C.: "Bartender, did I spend $100 in this bar last night ?"
Bartender: "You sure did."
W.C. replies: "Good, I thought I lost it."

A rich man is nothing but a poor man with money.

I never vote for anyone; I always vote against.

You're drunk! Yeah, and you're crazy. And I'll be sober tomorrow and you'll be crazy for the rest of your life.

Funny guy. Definitely screwed up, but funny.

Warm regards, Harv
