I understand you're praising the paper for being a valid sampling theory, but I don't think this is exactly what Dick thinks he's got.

Yanniru, what is your response to Dick's implied "discovery" -- that "Eureka! I have discovered clocks do not measure time!" angle? This strikes me as stupendously naive -- if someone as uneducated as I can understand Einsteinian time, why can't a Physics PhD grasp it? Stafford rants and raves in his paper about how "clocks do not measure time!" -- quite eager to point out how his paper reveals this deep, dark secret -- but Einstein and (most) physicists since nearly a century ago understand this!

And didn't you post this a couple days ago?
