That far horizon may only be a shrinking horizon not so far away!
If the universe IS convoluted back on itself,
we cannot reach the edge of any question, unless we become really, really small! but in our present hulky human forms, we can only get SOMEWHAT closer to the walls (horizon) in a part of the room
where the ceiling creates a tight fit by slanting close to the floor. It's cramped on the frontiers of thought. Diminishing returns set in! The greatest pioneers of science may be folks who run through all the house -- not just the cramped areas with low ceilings.
The other horizon is up and the ceiling is higher.
