Black holes are where new universes are formed.

Our galaxy is destined to expand forever.

So at some point the spirits that may or may not exist will have to find a new smaller universe to live in.

Perhaps they could pass into a new uniuverdse
(sorry that's the way it came out)
forming in the black hole.

Still a black hole must be an arduous journey even for a spirit, unless of course the spirit does not exist.

If extant, I would presume that they would gather together into an intense lump of unified field that could survive a black hole- since black hole singularities turn everything into the unified field. So you can only survive if you are already a unified field.
