Thanks for the links. They are quite long so it will be some time before I can make any judgements. You seem to be on the right track though, that is quite impressive.

Although the site is full of fundamentalist junk, it was interesting for me to discover that post-modernist philosophy addresses that issue, although in my opinion from the wrong perspective. I'm not sure what post-modernism is, other than it's Language Removed not worth my attention, but I was surprised to learn they see things from a somewhat familiar perspective. I'm quite convinced that each person inhabits a personal universe (in a metaphorical sense), but I haven't fully worked out all the implications of that.

I do appreciate your help. You asked me if I'm willing to buy books, well, I definitely plan to read up but fortunately for my bank account I can always rely on our wonderful library system. After all, Canada is not only about low temperatures and high taxes :-)
