For example:

Suppose Jane and Mary fully agree on the set of inferences licensed by the concept of a chair, but when faced with a particular modernistic contrivance Jane denies that the item is a chair while Mary unhesitatingly takes the item to be a chair. Do we want to say that this is a case of two people with slightly different concepts of a chair -- as a Sellarsian approach would seem to require -- or do we want to describe this as a case of two people who share a concept but hold different beliefs about whether a particular item falls under that concept? The crucial point to be made for present purposes is that this is not a question that can be settled once and for all by a priori examination of our current concepts of a concept and a belief."
