I hope you realize that my previous post title was facetious....

Anyway, it is perfectly possible to respect a belief in general but strongly dislike a subset of that belief. For example, you may sympathize with most Republican viewpoints but view the ultraconsevative move to ban violent media to be absurd. Similarly, I realize the need for faith on a day-t-day basis for most people, but think fundamentalism is a plague.

And BTW: I never claimed to be respectful of all people. That is a trait you put on yourself, not me. I have next to no respect for fundies. (Sorry!)

And I will get to your post on Australia, but probably tomorrow.
