"Time" involves "self-referent reference". Example: a pendulum retraces (self-refers) its path (the reference distance is its path)(its path compared to your path gives time of your path)(consistent time-keeping requires self-referential clock).

"Time travel" would be "perspective travel"; but cannot violate logical consistency surely?
