I was once an atheist. On realizing that another world existed, I saw no reason to expect any religion or philosophy to be more true than any other. I still regard science and especially physics to contain the most accurate truth. But science says little about the ultimate form of reality. It just points out at the present time a number of possibilities.

Sorry. But I never realized I was avoiding your questions. Frankly, I just believe in what seems to me at the time to be most likely true.

What kind of reasons are you looking for.

Regards,

Richard

PS: I am not accusing you of being irrational or sophistic. But you and I know that alot of what is posted here can be so described. It just seems to me that hscott is a rational voice and I would like him to become more involved in this forum.
