Governments, Biologists Played Major Role In Improving Forestry

Companies, government, and universities are all intertwined. All blame and credit for the forestry management mistakes and improvements
belong in part to all three groups.
Citizen groups such as environmental watch groups
are often very well informed. Unless you really know what they know and why they take the positions they do, you cannot comment nearly as intelligently as you could if you did.
If you object because their articles seem partisan, then I say the other side has been partisan too. If you do not make that objection,
either you do not read the environmental articles or you do, but perhaps you are only looking for technical information and skimming over the rhetoric. There's a lot on both sides.
