Shift Symmetry Assumption

Stafford has admitted that he uses the shift symmetry. He just claims that it is not an assumption, but is somehow required. He also claims that there are no other assumptions in his analysis. That was my original contention with him, that he claimed no assumptions. You seem to contradict that claim even in the above post where you say that the PEANO AXIOMS ARE ASSUMPTIONS.

Of course they are math tools. So what. What counts is what he assumes beyond ordinary math tools, like the shift symmetry and the characterization of invalid data.

Regards,

Richard
