The 3rd option is basically the 2 only it says that our universe is just one of many that came from the original universe. Of course that still leaves unquestioned where the 1st universe or multiverse came from.

So 2,3, and 5 are gone. What about 1? Well in sense this is impossible since:

1. The universe is expanding. If it always existed why would it expand?

2. The 2nd law of thermal dynamics tells us that everything breaks down. So in a universe that always existed everything should be at it's most basic element right now.

Thus with 1,2,3, and 5 thrown out by science and pure logic that leaves only 4. Obviously what ever the 4 option is it be supernatural and thus above science, but aparently science has left us with what some would call an unscientific option.
