Hi Harv,

Quote: "and at the same time unable to 'know' since we do not have access to the world that is 'out there'"

Surely one cannot talk of a "world that is 'out there'" at all if one does not have access to it?

One may have a theory that there are items one is allegedly unaware of (e.g. how many earth-like planets in our galaxy). But these concepts (Earth, galaxy, etc.) from which the alleged gap in knowledge was constructed are built on a foundation that involves direct experience of "out there" in here! (In oneself). ?????????

Neurologist Ramachandran, and Physics phD R. stafford; both maintain that "humans are self-referent through and through".

Comments?
