I think that Chris shows sober good judgment in this. And Chris, thank you for taking time to say so. You cause me to confess there are a few times I have posted something and then realized a vigorous counter-argument could be made which would not defeat the thesis I posted except to alter it somewhat. Certainly there is no problem with being skeptical of my posts too. I am confident my positions are highly defensible in the long term, in part due to the way they are couched in tentative degrees rather than absolutes...and also they are defensible because they are smaller ideas, based on observation and context, rather than over-reaching comprehensive ideas.
We can talk about the entire universe more successfully sometimes than our own situations, because surely the universe may contain what we are discussing, while the view to our own predicament may deceive us as to which grain or wave we are experiencing. I like to go into vagueness sometimes....but back to reality again!
I must now jump into my car (which was a gift from my uncle, a retired Air Force senior master sergeant) and do errands in preparation for my half-day job.
