I have been guilty of accusing Christianity of being the only religion that does not endorse reincarnation. But just now I encountered a saying of Jesus that confounds my accusation:

"[Jesus] asserted that John the Baptist was the reincarnation of Elias the ancient prophet."

However, I am unable to find the biblical source for this saying. I did find one where John the Baptist denied thar he was Elijah, but not the above.
Perhaps one of you who are better schooled in biblical verse could point out Chapter and verse.
