As you know I'm about as mathematically inclined as a kangaroo, but I'd agree from a philosophical perspective that true-blue infinity cannot exist.

Could you explain for us non-mathematicians how genuine infinity is impossible? I'm curious if a physicist would describe these concepts in a way similar to how someone as provencial as I might.
