I've honestly never even heard of The Assemblies of God before, so I assume it's a relatively small or new group. That's probably a major reason for its relatively clean hands. If it were to attempt to grow large and get involved in international politics (i.e. the Medieval Catholic church) I would think that it, as well as any group, religious or not, would get overwhelmed in a beaurocratic and corrupt morass.
