: : What use would God have of various body-parts? To ask such a question speaks only of one's limitations re: things of spiritual nature. God is THE Super-Natural Being, the Alpha and the Omega; He was here before time and He will be here after time. God has no material image; Jesus was God incarnate, He assumed the image of Man, died on a cross and was resurrected as a means of atonement for your sins. You only have to accept Him as Saviour.

: ***There are many men and women who have sacrificed themselves for the sake of someone else, mainly for thier own children, but also for others, this is a supreame sacrifice, more personal, and directly understood by those who were saved by these acts of sacrifice. : Jesus was a Martyre(spelling incorrect) there have been many who have died for the sake of humanity, but this in no way makes or proves that they were the son of a god, only that they were in the right place at the right time, or you could say the wrong place at the wrong time.

bzrd here: I am not sure Jesus can be considered a martyr; He was not killed for what He beleived so much as who He was. Additionally, He freely gave His life, there is no greater act of love than to give one's life for another's. The Resurrection places Jesus in a unique category amongst all others.
