Very cool story. You can always still say: This person claimed there was a dragon in their garage. Here is the evidence that they said this. Here are the results of the attempts to test their claim.

You are left with real facts: dragon-claimer said
various stuff and claim-questioner said various stuff. As for the alleged dragon....... you need an intersection of definition-categories to find it; or talk to God who created the dragon, ask if it's real.
