you still don't know the definition of proper time. Or you do but just don't realize it.

measuring."

That is a fairly good definition of propertime.

Open this site (1st chapter of Exploring Black Holes by Edwin Taylor and John Wheeler) and look at figure 1 on page 1-2. Now look at that simple metric [1] and you should be able to figure out why all observers can agree on the time intervals measured (by any time measuring device attached to the object) between events along an objects wordline. Now explain once again why Einstein made a mistake when he incorporated this into his model. Keeping in mind that the model has survived all (and numerous) attempts to find a flaw wrt the predictions it makes in its domain of applicability.
