Since when is science infallible? I always thought that induction was inferior to deduction, hence the questionable nature of all scientific "laws" and procedures. All you can ever offer is probability, not certainty Instead, why not proceed on the assumption that all scientific discoveries remain theories and attempt to test them against everything in order to disprove them (see the falsification theory of Karl Popper)
