C14 DATING PROVES THAT FOSSILS LESS THAT 50,000 YRS OLD:

The rate of decay of C14 is such that half an amount will convert back into N14 in 5,730 +- 40 years. This is the Half-Life. Therefore, in two half-lives (11,460 years), only one-quarter will be left. Thus if the amount of C14 relative to C12 in a sample is one-quarter of that in living organisms at present, then it has an age of 11,460 years. Anytihng over about 50,000 years old, should have no detectable C14 left. Finding C14 in aomething then, pretty well proves that it isn't millions of years old.
