Does the Book covers the the aroused of the new japanese Buddhism during the Kamakura period of 13th century japan? Maybe the author did not mention or not known to Nichiren? Because i think the most prevalent japanese Buddhism of what people might think is the most popular is the Zen and followed by Pure land and Shingon Buddhism.
