I agree the woodpecker shows evidence of intelligent design. In technology, intelligent design has proceeded from the beginning through trial and error. Clocks were invented over a period of centuries with many primitive versions.

We should not assume the Creator knows what he's doing and therefore we need not think.
Hitler did just that. His approach was the opposite of science as his school record also showed. He invoked the name of God many times.
God forgive him once the lesson is learned and then may he rest in peace.
