Schroedingers cat is in accordance with Bohr's interpretation where human consciousness is required to collapse wave functions.

A popular one used by Feymann is the all particle interpretation. In this case you must have particles going forward in time and anti-particles (which know the future) coming back in time. No waves or waves collapsing in this one

There is Everett's many univderse one where each wave function state exists in different universes and reduction from waves to particles selects one of the universes for us, and possibly other universes for others (also us, but now disconnected from us).

Cramers interpretation seems most sensible to me where friction or some other interaction with the environment causes the waves to collapse into particles. So in the case of eyesight, the interaction of EM waves with electron waves in atomic orbit (or free electron waves as in metals) causes them both to collapse and exchange energy and information.

If you read the paranormal literature, there you will find quantum hologram theories that require human intention to derive paranormal info from objects. The Delewarr camera (which gets pictures of objects that can be processed from 2-D to 3-d like MRI) also reqiures the photographers attention and the tuning of the camera to the correct frequency for the info sought (like a radio), but no light is required. In fact, it will not work with light present. So in a way that is a throwback to Bohr's interpretation. Consciousness is required to get information.

The quantum hologram theory explains Remote Viewing data that is published in scientific journals and was funded by the CIA to spy on Russia. One guy got the medal of honor for his work. Anyone could be trained to do it, but since what you see remotely is the internal structure of the objects seen, it takes expertise to interpret what the objects are.

Regards,

Richard
