Mario,
I challenge you to read this 'til you grok it.
How scientifically we approach current
public policy issues will depend in part
on knowing what the factors are...and these
include
1) belief systems of human participants and
2) error rates in those belief systems

In the sense of information science, Religions purport to reduce error rates but they
often increase them instead.
Nowhere else in nature are the questions as
complex and murky as in public policy, perhaps,
if we allow that these are significant forces

a) physiological drives of all players and
b) external information exchanges which could, for as yet unexplored Supreme Being, be understood in detail as we understand the error-free transmission of information travelling through phone lines...with the distinction between us and that Being...being that what we
experience as assembled data, or information,
could be read as data and errors disregarded.

So, repeating...
In the sense of information science, Religions purport to reduce error rates but they
often increase them instead.

Sincerely,
Mike
