Anonymity Has A Specific Purpose

It keeps some wackos from taking a little information given and then becoming a harrassment. People like some sort of anonymity because it keeps the wackos away.

Anonymity and posing as multiple people is different though. One is an attempt at keeping intimate or critical information private, the other is clearly deceit.
