that just seconds of it can seem to be worth years of ordinary "living death" life.

It's worth trading a lot of other options to live that way...and yet it does not really have to cost most of them at all, does it?

I think you are referring to a kind of spiritual happiness that might be quite achievable but like
a long Welsh word, it might be difficult to remember how to spell it and nobody reminds us to do so !
