I think you can make some of that case but I
haven't really seen a good case yet..
Are you saying that religion leads the way for science generally or are you saying that despite
significant quagmires on this topic, we can observe that it does occasionally occur?
Religious priest Kepler was harrassed by the Lutheran Inquisition
according to one my my silly readings
and religious priest Mendel's boss burned his papers, according to Carl Sagan, I think.
See how deep my sources are on that...oops


And how much do you distinguish individual religious practice from group religous practices?
