WHY do you believe that? If I said that humans are in fact green octopuses from the planet Krall, would you take me seriously? No, I would have to demonstrate REASONS for my beliefs.

Your belief that humans are the only ones with souls is interesting. It suggests that a soul is not neccesary for life and consciousness to occur. In that case, why do you view them as neccesary in humans?
