It was a clever bit of propaganda posted by an inexperienced young guy with a decent IQ and possibly decent intentions.

First, the "Hank" in the story exists even in
baboon, chimp and wolf troops.
Second, human dominance hierarchies are more intense in the absence of moderating philosophies.
Third, ( and this is convoluted but valid)
The corruptions of Christianity are not a good guide to the merits of the original idea
any more than
germ warfare is a guide to the merits of the discovery of microbes and the germ theory of disease.

Blame it on the ape in us, not the teacher of
gentle transcendence.
