I will admit that to read Harv
lecture anyone on a "misconception"
always causes me to stop reading because
I know it will be camofluff.
In a related topic,
Here is how Rich and I were talking
very shortly before he DNFTT'd me.
I point to how he did not acknowledge
my distinguishing "some" evolutionists,
then turned it around and explained I must
be "extremely careful" not to lump them all together...when he had begun the thread doing just that.

Evolutionists are not Perfect.
But when a part of the theory falls away from where
they thought it belonged, they won't deny it. Evolution
is a science that is under continuous scrutiny and research
is always being done. As long as the thesis doesn't affect
the person's goal of achieving the conclusion, a science will grow.
YEC isn't there, but evolutionists are.”

Mike Pearson responded in part:
Thanks, Rich
I believe much of what you say. I do believe some evolutionists
still have some problems about its applications to public policy
and that's where the two camps really collide….”

Mike Pearson wrote (in part)
Okay but evolutionists are often wrong in how they apply
evolution to modern life and human society and wind up with the widest range of
psycho-babbling recipes for doom.
From them, along with good stuff from evolution-comprehending
guys like myself, we get the bad stuff too…”

Rich responded to (in part)
“And be extremely careful when using the term evolutionist.
That covers an extremely large group of people. “
Is it brain wiring or a deliberate thing. The former is not necessarily bad, but the latter is worth addressing.
