There are some problems
Souls could acquire goodness, OR power, OR both
as they develop. We should not equate being a
"god" with being highly evolved, unless you are making a proof that the power to manipulate is proof of goodness.
Even sobriety can be only the foundation for
doing bad, and some kinds of harmlessness may require seeming weak.
So I think the idea still needs tinkering.
