Just Look At What Fundamentalism Did To Islamic Science

Islam, up to 1200 AD, was the world leader in science. And by then they had conquered almost the whole world. Then fundamentalism took over and research became forbidden. I can provide you the links to the Principles of Islam where that is said to be a principle.

Jisbond originally provided those links and we had extensive discussions on that subject on this forum.

So just look at what happened to Islam after fundamentalism took over. It took a few centuries but finally european science became so powerful that all of Islam became colonies of European nations. And today Islamic countries are the most underdeveloped in the world in spite of their oil riches.

That is why we are all afraid of fundamentalism.

You can believe anything you like- just keep your religion out of politics. It is the law of the USA. If you interfere with church-state separation, you are breaking the law.
